Join Ryan Cunningham for a 3 hour exploration of movement, pranayama and meditation. This extended practice will allow us to slow down and emphasize function and sensation over strict form - allowing everyone to find their unique expression of the practice.
This month will take a look at how to find a well-rounded practice without bearing weight on the arms. So many students develop carpal tunnel, tendonitis, and other syndromes for any number of reasons which renders many of the classic yoga poses painful. Other still have gone through periods where down dog, plank, up dog etc are not possible do to accidents and or surgery. Often times this leads to a period of just not practicing.
The truth is we can practice without bearing weight on our arms, it just takes a little ingenuity and patience. Join Ryan for a completely "hands-free" practice that aims to find the perfect balance of effort and relaxation - without all those planks.
