Individual Training and Mentorship.

As a student I have benefitted immensely from meeting with my teachers in an 1-on-1 setting. In fact I would say that as much as I value the group trainings that I have done, it is the individual work with my teachers where I have learned the most about yoga. In that spirit I offer individual instruction, training and mentorship to interested yoga students. Many of the students who work with me in this way are also teachers, but that is not a requirement. In fact some students choose to work toward a "200hr training" in an individualized way. 

My simple goal in working with people in this way is to support practice. 


200HR YOGA STUDIES.

Limited to 10 Students | Begins January 2018

This year-long training is geared toward students looking to refine their understanding of yoga practice. The main focus of this program encouraging students to practice independently - to actually think about how yoga relates and frames both what is happening on the mat and off. This sets the stage for sharing yoga with others in a variety of settings. 

The training covers anatomy, awareness training through asana, pranayama and meditation, and basic teaching methodology! The small group setting ensures an individualized and conversational approach to practice. 

*this program fulfills and surpasses the requirements suggested by Yoga Alliance at the 200hr level.


300HR TEACHERS' COURSE

Limited to 6 Students

This year-long program is designed for teachers who are looking to refine their understanding and skills in order to better share yoga practice with others. One of the harder aspects of presenting teacher trainings is that you are working in a hypothetical realm. The first experiences in front of the classroom can bring up all manner of questions/challenges. 

This program is designed for teachers who are actively teaching in a group setting and are looking to refine their understanding of practice as well as how to share practice with others. 

*this program fulfills and surpasses the requirements suggested by Yoga Alliance at the 300hr level.
